Installation

• Mount camera on the wall with provided bracket
• Plug in power adapter
• Connect Ethernet cable from camera to DSL/Cable Modem/Router
• System automatically gets DHCP-provided address and registers with U42S server. No user configuration!

Operation

Simply arm the camera with the keyfob remote control, and your system automatically records alarm pictures upon motion detection - day or night.

The camera connects to the Util4 server via the Internet. When pictures, video stream or access to the camera settings are provided, they are done over a highly-secure encrypted link. All alarm pictures are automatically time-stamped and archived on Util4 servers without any user intervention - keeping your private pictures private.

The camera works in conjuction with an online account included in your monthly subscription service.

Depending on your account settings, alarm notifications are sent via:

• SMS / Text Messaging
• MMS /Picture Messaging
• Email
• Alarm Review in Online Account
• Live Internet Video Stream

Online Account

Below is an example of the "Alarm" review frame of the Online Account. Here you can review individual pictures up to 640 x 480 pixels, play the alarm sequence slideshown, and forward pictures to another email address.

Other account pages perform the following:

• "Log In"
• "Overview" showing recent alarms and current notification settings
• "Account Profile" showing your subscribed services, shipping & billing address and password management
• "Notification" to set your Email, SMS/Text and MMS/Picture Messaging
• "Camera" page to adjust frame rates, turn on the siren and configure the camera for WLAN/WiFi access.
